The short versionBig tube with a real community side: stories, user uploads, and tons of homemade stuff.

What you get

xHamster is one of the oldest big tubes, running since 2007, and it feels different from the rest because of its community side. Alongside studio scenes there's a huge amount of homemade content, plus user profiles, erotic stories, photo galleries and active comment sections.

Who it's for

If you like amateur and real-couple content, xHamster is one of the best free places for it. Its niche categories are also deeper than most, which is why it shows up in several of our niche lists. If you want polished studio scenes, Pornhub is easier to browse.

Premium

xHamster Premium removes ads and unlocks full-length studio content. It's a decent deal if you use the site a lot, but the free side has more than enough.

Is xHamster safe?

Yes, as far as big tubes go: everything plays in the browser and the site has been around for a long time. The usual advice applies: run an ad blocker like uBlock Origin, ignore pop-ups and never download anything a site offers you.

xHamster alternatives

Good

  • Big free library with a lot of real homemade content
  • Community features: profiles, stories, photos and comments
  • Good category coverage, including niches other tubes bury
  • Optional Premium tier with no ads

Not so good

  • Busy layout with a lot going on
  • Quality varies more than on studio-heavy tubes
  • Ads and cam promotions on the free site

xHamster alternatives

Not feeling it? Pornhub, XVideos and SpankBang are the closest picks from the same list.

Stay safe

Use an ad blocker, never download a "video player" a site pushes on you, and think about a VPN. My privacy picks are all free or cheap.
