Pornhub review
What you get
Pornhub is the biggest name in free porn, and it earns the spot. The library covers every mainstream category and most niche ones, the search is the best of any tube, and filters for length, quality and production type actually work. It's owned by Aylo, the same company behind YouPorn, RedTube, Tube8 and studios like Brazzers.
Verified uploads only
In December 2020, after reporting about abusive and unverified videos on the site, Pornhub removed every video from unverified accounts and stopped anonymous uploads. Today only verified uploaders, studios and models can post. That doesn't make it perfect, but it's a much higher bar than most free tubes set.
Free vs Premium
Everything on the main site is free with ads. Pornhub Premium is the paid tier: no ads, higher-quality streams and exclusive full-length content. It's worth it if Pornhub is where you watch most of the time. If not, the free tier is fine with an ad blocker.
Why is Pornhub blocked where I am?
Several US states now require adult sites to check every visitor's ID. Rather than collect that data, Pornhub blocks those states and shows a message instead. The same applies to its sister sites.
Is Pornhub safe?
The site itself is one of the safer places to watch free porn: verified uploads, a big company behind it and no need to download anything. The main risk is the ads. Use an ad blocker like uBlock Origin and never install anything a pop-up asks for. Our privacy guide covers the rest.
