Every free adult site is paid for by something. Sometimes it is a membership tier, sometimes a pre-roll, sometimes an ad network that takes over your browser the moment you click. You experience that funding decision more directly than any feature on the site — it is the loading time, the hijacked tab, the redirect you did not ask for.

So when five submissions came in this round, we tested them the same way: open the network log and find out who is actually paying. All five are now listed. A sixth could not be reached at all. Here is what each business model costs you in practice.

The five, and who pays

Model 1: memberships — the comics archives

SexKomix2 and WPornComics are run by the same team, and they are the clearest demonstration in this batch that funding model is user experience.

Both are enormous. SexKomix2's pagination runs past 1,277 pages, WPornComics past 1,213, and between them they cover 40+ categories, franchise parodies, and — on WPornComics — an index of 100+ artists and studios with their own landing pages. SexKomix2 adds six fully translated interface languages, not a widget.

Here is the part that matters. Both sites make their money from VIP memberships, a Boosty page and an NFT collection, and the visible consequence is that each loads exactly one ad mediation script. Most free comics archives run five or more, stacked, with a pop-under waiting on the first click. Neither of these fired a pop-under during testing.

The trade-off is disclosure, not advertising. SexKomix2's footer carries a link labelled "18 U.S.C. 2257" that actually resolves to its contact page, and it has no DMCA link — while its sibling puts both in the main navigation. For an archive that size, a working takedown route is not a formality, and it is the one thing keeping SexKomix2 off a higher score.

Also worth saying plainly: these are two listings held by one operator. We list both because the artist index genuinely finds material the other does not, but you are not getting two independent archives.

Model 2: nothing at all — and what that really means

OrgyFuck is the outlier. We read the full network log on its homepage and on video pages, and not one third-party script loads. No banner network, no pop-under, no analytics, no redirect chain. In this category that is close to unheard of.

The organisation is good too: group sex split into hubs that match how people actually search — orgy, gangbang, party, swinger, amateur, bukkake — plus a real gay orgy section and a written stories area, across roughly 1,400 videos.

So how is it paid for? As far as the page is concerned, it is not — and that is because every video is a Pornhub embed. OrgyFuck hosts nothing. It is a curated index over someone else's infrastructure, which explains both the zero ad load and the risk: when a source video is pulled, the page stays up and the player goes dark. Treat it as a well-built map, not an archive.

Model 3: honest pre-roll — the one that hosts its own files

XXXTV is the only site in this batch that genuinely serves its own video. The player pulls an MP4 from the site's own storage behind a signed, expiring URL — real infrastructure, not an iframe pointed at a bigger tube. Its homepage answered in 0.28 seconds with zero third-party requests, the lightest opening page we measured this month.

Hosting costs money, so video pages carry a pre-roll stack — Google's IMA SDK alongside ExoClick. You pay for the stream with an ad before playback. What did not happen at any point was a pop-under, a hijacked tab or a redirect, which is the specific claim its operator made.

That is the honest version of the free tube bargain, and it is worth more than the sites claiming to be ad-free while running four networks. The catch is scale: the library is small and view counts show a young audience.

Model 4: no visible model at all

SmutAIChat is a text-only NSFW writing partner that opens straight into a chat box — no account, no credit meter, no email capture. For a category trained to paywall you three messages in, that is genuinely refreshing, and it is why it is listed.

But the funding question has no answer on the site. There is no pricing page — /pricing returns a 404 — while the affiliate program pays partners "20% of net revenue" with lifetime recurring commissions. Revenue share on a product with no visible price means the money is coming from somewhere the front end does not show you.

Two more things to know: the model powering it is never named, and the homepage promises "no data retention — your secrets stay yours" a few lines above a feature that saves your chats to an account so you can revisit them. Both cannot be true. Until the privacy page reconciles them, assume what you type is kept.

Model 5: offline

The sixth submission, a free JAV site, we could not review at all. The domain resolves, but the server refused connections on both port 80 and port 443 from two separate networks across the entire testing window — not a slow site, not a geoblock answering and denying, but no handshake at all.

There is no review to write for a site that will not open for readers. It stays on hold until it answers, and the operator has an open invitation to tell us when it does.

How to read an ad stack yourself

You do not need our tooling to do a version of this before you trust a new site:

1. Judge it on a video page, not the homepage. Almost every site is clean until you press play. The homepage is the shop window.
2. Watch what happens on your first click. A pop-under fires on the first interaction, not on load. If a new tab appears behind your browser, you have your answer.
3. Look for the takedown route. A site with a real DMCA contact and a 2257 statement is one that expects to be held responsible. A site with neither is telling you something.
