Each listing is checked on desktop and mobile for what is genuinely free, what the stream quality actually is, how aggressive the advertising gets, and what happens to your data if you register. How a site gets tested
The same five checks run on every listing, in the same order, whether it is a free tube with a hundred million visits a month or a niche studio nobody has heard of. Ratings come out of these checks and nothing else.
1. What you actually get without paying
How many videos play end to end without an account, whether previews are capped, and whether the free tier is watermarked or downscaled. Advertising a site as free and then gating every full scene behind a signup wall costs a listing points.
2. Stream quality and player behaviour
Top resolution offered and whether it is genuine 1080p/4K or an upscaled 720p file, how fast the player starts on a normal home connection, and whether seeking works. VR listings get an extra pass for stereoscopic scale, frame rate and headset support.
3. Advertising and pop-up load
Pop-unders on a first click, redirect chains, fake “your device is infected” overlays, and whether the site is usable at all with a normal ad blocker running. Back-button hijacking is disqualifying.
4. Safety, privacy and payment handling
HTTPS end to end, what appears on a card statement, whether cancellation is self-service, and how many third-party trackers load on the front page. Anything caught with malvertising or a leaking payment flow is removed from the index rather than downranked.
5. Mobile and desktop parity
Most reading happens on a phone, so every listing is opened on both. A stripped-down mobile shell, a player that refuses to go full screen, or a forced app install all cost points.
Money, and why it does not move the rankings
Some outbound links are affiliate links and the site carries display advertising — that is what makes the index free to read, and we would rather say so plainly than bury it. What that money does not buy is position. Rankings come out of the five checks above; a site that pays well and tests badly ranks badly, and several of the top-rated entries in this directory pay nothing at all. There is no paid placement and no fee to be listed.
GoonDudehosts no media of its own. Every link points outward to the operator’s own domain, and we have no control over what they do after you arrive — which is why the safety notes on each listing are worth reading before you register anywhere.
Corrections and contact
If a listing is wrong, out of date, or serving something it should not be, tell us and it gets re-checked. Operators can submit a site for testing the same way — there is no fee and no priority queue.

Does GoonDude host any of the content it links to?
No. GoonDude is a directory and search index. We do not host, produce, upload or control any of the media on the sites we link to — every listing sends you to the operator's own domain.
How does GoonDude make money?
